Behind Schedule

I'm sorry for not blogging as much...

True Homes took forever on getting our lot recorded. It took about 2 1/2 months!!!! SMH that's just ridiculous! We will not be closing in May/June because of this delay! I am not a happy camper at all...

The lot was recorded on April 3, 2015 (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!) and the appraisal was ordered on April 6, 2015.

On a brighter note, we got our appraisal results on April 9, 2015 and the results were great!

The Sales Comparison Approach was $1,000 over our purchase price and the Cost Approach (if developed) is appraised $4,100 over!!!!

Our pre-construction meeting is scheduled for April 28th.... I will keep you guys posted! Hopefully there are no more delays!

The Lot

Our lot size is 0.331 acres... thats more than a quarter! I guess that is a pretty decent size?

In order for us to move forward to the appraisal, the city needs to record the lot first!

Adam (our broker/lender) who is awesome by the way, he put in an appraisal request last week but the appraisal will not be ordered until the lot is recorded!

The Waiting Game

The ratified contract was sent to our lender yesterday. It took so long for True Homes to send the contract because an error was found and it had to be corrected. We had to sign the documents again.

So now that our lender has the contract, we're patiently waiting to hear if we are officially approved so we can move forward to the design center (showroom).

*crossing fingers and toes*

and now the waiting game begins...
